ABOUT ME

I am a Puerto Rican makeup artist who grew up on St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands. I’ve spent the past ten years building a career in the beauty industry, with experience ranging across bridal, commercial, editorial, and theatrical makeup.

 

Over the course of my career I’ve worked on hundreds of weddings, and with major brands including Disney Cruise Line, The Travel Channel, Cruzan Rum, and Lands’ End. My work has also been featured in Caribbean Posh and Potent magazines.

 

I spent years backstage at Pistarckle Theater designing and applying theatrical looks to help the actors embody their characters. I’m also known for transforming myself into over 100 different film, TV, and pop culture characters as part of my 31 Days of Makeup challenge, which was featured in The Daily News.

 

I’m passionate about makeup education, and offer private lessons. I recently hosted a group masterclass in celebration of my ten years as a professional makeup artist.

 

Beyond makeup, I’m also a multidisciplinary artist who works in mixed media. My paintings have been featured in several fine art exhibitions, including last year’s VI Contemporary Fine Art and Music Festival, and the Rebirth: Spring Equinox exhibition held at the Caribbean Museum Center for the Arts in St. Croix.

 

My makeup philosophy centers on uplifting my clients by not only highlighting their best features, but also holding space for them on some of the most emotional, stressful days of their lives. I believe that how I make someone feel is just as important as how I make them look.
