I'm really excited to share this awesome new website with you guys! The #1 question I get asked is, “How do I find a foundation that matches me?” The Baseics (www.thebaseics.com) is dedicated to helping women of color find their perfect match!

All you have to do is answer a few questions about what you're looking for in a foundation;

You choose from 6 numbered photos the one that comes the closest to your skin tone;

Then based on your responses, they recommend a brand, formula, and shade for you!

Each brand has a profile that tells you about the product, with fun swatches as well as descriptions of the undertones for each individual shade. Pictured below is one of my all-time favorites, Maybelline Matte+Poreless!

The amount of valuable information on this website is really impressive, and represents a lot of hard work. The Baseics was founded by Ofunne Amaka, you can follow her on instagram @ofunneamaka.
